Passive Sensor Tags are wireless and battery-free sensors that measure and monitor critical parameters like temperature, strain, pressure, humidity, and motion. They can be placed almost anywhere, such as in hazardous environments or within fast rotating parts, providing access to instant readings and reducing maintenance activities. All TSL UHF RFID Readers can read sensor data remotely from Asygn-based tags. Series 3 TSL Readers (such as the 3138 and 3166) can also read Axzon Magnus S3-based chips.
RFID Sensor Tag Explorer showcases the use of TSL RFID Readers to remotely sample and log environmental sensor data from UHF sensor tags. All of TSL’s apps have been built using our free Software Development Kits. TSL’s Android SDK 2.8.0 supports sensor tags, available on any of the UHF RFID Reader Downloads pages.
