In the video below you can see the TSL® 1128 Bluetooth® UHF RFID Reader being trialled by Overgaard Genetics in order to track livestock. The reader is being used with an Android smartphone and their own custom App. Specialised animal tracking UHF RFID ear tags, such as these provided by GAO RFID provide a faster and more efficient way to track livestock, and allow details such as date of birth, health and location history to be monitored for every single animal.
