Sponsored cycle ride helps Stroke Association

A group of cyclists, which included TSL Managing Director David Evans, have cycled 102 miles trying to raise £3,000 for the Stroke Association.

Other cyclists included Libby Evans, Francesco Arcadio, Henry Simkin, Nigel Foster and Philip Wright. The team cycled from one end of Leicestershire to the other and back again and have so far raised £2,732 in support of the Stroke Association charity, which has offered information and advice to a close relative.

The route taken started at Loughborough, then on to Bradgate Park and out to Market Bosworth and Measham. From Measham the team continued to Breedon on the Hill, Old Dalby and then back to Loughborough via Six Hills.

David said, “It was a fantastic day and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the route and the BBQ afterwards”

He added,  “Thanks go to all our friends, families and co-workers who helped us raise so much money. Knowing how much we were about to raise really pushed us through the final miles.”
